A Little FREEBIE Magic...
Many of you may be aware of a new program at Amazon called Prime. Basically, it'a a lending library/movie library/free shipping program that is literally driving authors and everyone else it seems crazy.
One advantage to an author is extra exposure and being able to "give away" copies of their book over a short period of time.
Why would an author want to "give away" copies of their books? Simple, the small glimmer of hope that the reader will read the book and want to read more. It's not an old concept. In fact, it's one reason the "Look Inside the Book" feature and sample features are so popular.
Will I join? Well, for now I listed one book and it's not my fiction.
Back many years ago I owned a Balloon And Gift Basket Business and several years ago I wrote and sold an ebook similar to the one I enrolled. It is a short and to the point how-to for making balloon sculptures like columns and swags. It has always sold really well and at a higher price than the .99 it is currently listed at. I did enroll the first book in the series to help introduce the series.
So, to the point of this blog post. Do It Like A Pro: Easy Balloon Decorating for the Non-Professional will be free from 12:00 am 1/4/12 to 11:59 pm on 1/4/12. I hope that you will all grab a copy and tell everyone you know to grab a copy. It's a small way I can give back to all of you who have supported me and my fiction! The info is definitely worth FREE and it can save you a lot of money if the need arises.
